The Bourne Design Review Committee has given its approval, with some recommendations, for a proposed mixed-use complex in Buzzards Bay to move on to the planning board. Some of the recommendations the committee issued with its approval involve the complex’s landscaping, signage and building sizes.
The committee’s suggestions were reached during its remote meeting on Tuesday, April 6. The project is a residential/commercial/retail complex with space for a restaurant. It would be constructed at 2 Kendall Rae Place, opposite Keystone Place and adjacent to the new Hampton Inn Cape Cod Canal.
Joseph K. Longo of JL3 Consulting told the committee the project would be going before the planning board as well as the conservation commission in the coming weeks as part of the ongoing permitting process.
